About The Festival
A celebration of quality Territory produce, restaurants, trade stalls and suppliers.
Think: Territory Seafood, mangoes and our famous Asian flavours all coming together under one air-conditioned roof.
The 2017 Territory Taste Festival will take over the entire Darwin Convention Centre! It will cater for all foodies, tourists and the general public.
We invite you to EAT, DRINK and SHARE the enjoyment of food among Northern Territory producers, farmers, growers, stallholders, suppliers, bush harvest experts and the hospitality industry as a whole.
The Territory Taste Festival will be held at the Darwin Convention Centre with shoulder activities at the Darwin Waterfront Precinct and restaurants around Greater Darwin.
There will be over 40 stallholders and retailers –including a variety of food and wine stalls, which will be able to sell and offer tasting samples to over 15,000 anticipated foodies. Included in the festivities are an exclusive super-sized beer garden and cider lawn, Champagne bar, wine bar, coffee stalls and a stunning cocktail lounge.
The Territory Taste Festival will be double the size in 2017 with over 4000m² of air conditioned premium event space!
We are pulling out all the stops to create an amazing event that will showcase our fabulous producers to local, national and international food fans.
The Territory Taste Festival will appeal to all food fans, including locals, tourists, families and budding MasterChefs. Families, as well as the budget conscious, were warmly welcomed. Serious foodies and home cooks can sink their teeth into special master classes and demonstrations. Food events all over the world attract great audiences, not only locals but also travelers on various budgets.
The Territory Taste Festival will be the major showcase of the Northern Territory’s strengths in the primary and hospitality industry, and establish the Territory as a gourmet destination, adding further value to the already unique holiday experience the Territory provides.
The Territory Taste Festival is a weekend jam-packed with tasty events and is supported by the NT Government, Festivals NT and the Department of Business. We look forward to seeing you there!
